As the founder of Neuroscience Nation, I am passionate about expanding access to neuroscience education and research opportunities for students around the world. Through competitions, chapters, and mentorship initiatives, I work to empower the next generation of scientists to explore the brain and pursue impactful research.

I'm really interested in STEM research and plan to become a neurosurgeon in the future. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing the piano.

My academic interests mainly consist of computational biology and mathematics, and in the future I hope to be a researcher in the field of phylogenetics. During my free time, I like to play the drums with my jazz band or jam with some friends of mine.

I’m Nish, a junior at Northwood who’s pretty into neuroscience and research. I spend a lot of time working on brain-related projects, debating, and helping run NeuroNation to make neuroscience more accessible. When I’m not doing that, I’m probably surfing, traveling, or grabbing food with some friends.

I am interested in biochemistry and public health, particularly how genes and molecular mechanisms influence diseases, and I hope to pursue a career in cardiology/medical research. In my free time, I enjoy acrylic and oil painting while listening to music.

Hi I'm Melissa, a junior in WA who loves psychology and dermatology. I spend a lot of time analyzing skincare ingredients and helping others with their self-esteem as I am an outgoing person in those aspects. Moreover, when I'm free, I'll go up the mountains and snowboard while listening to upbeat music.

I am interested in psychology and STEM research because I am fascinated by how the mind shapes thoughts, emotions, and behavior. I am a 16-year-old student from Texas who has explored tennis, marching band, tutoring, and other initiatives, and I lead my own neuroscience club to advance understanding and engagement in the field. My interest became personal when my grandfather passed away from Alzheimer’s, inspiring me to explore mental health and neurological research to contribute to greater awareness, improved diagnostics, and better support for those affected.
